AB BAE on where to actually find her

Where to Find Me (and Only There)

Earlier this month I posted a picture of a bird. He was massive. Not a little bit big, actually huge, and I said so right away, because I could already tell the picture wasn't getting it across. You look at the photo and you see a bird. You don't see how big he was. You kind of had to be standing there.

Accounts online have the same problem. A profile is a picture of a person, and a picture doesn't tell you much. Anyone can grab my photos, call themselves AB BAE, put a buffalo emoji next to it and look close enough at a glance. So instead of hoping you can tell from the picture, here is the whole list, written down, from me.

The accounts that are actually me

There are four. That's it.

The same list lives on the official links page, and that page is the one I keep up to date. If something ever changes, it changes there first.

Four accounts. If it isn't one of those four, it isn't me.

Where I am not

This part matters just as much as the list. My accounts are the four listed here; anything on another platform isn't one of them. TikTok, Snapchat, Fansly, link.me or anywhere else: if you find an account using my name or my pictures there, it is not one I vouch for, and you should treat it that way.

The four accounts above are the only ones I vouch for. Anything calling itself my backup, my second account, my private account or my spam account on X or Instagram isn't me. If an account messages you first and says it is me, or says the real one got hacked and you should follow this one now, please do not believe it. If I ever lose an account, the links page is where I will say so, not in your DMs from a handle you have never seen before.

A ten-second check

If you are not sure about an account, you don't need to be a detective. Look at three things.

First, the spelling. My X and Instagram are both buffalobillsbae, all lowercase, no underscores, no numbers, no extra letters. Second, the history. My X has been around since 2013 and has tens of thousands of posts on it. A copy can steal a picture in a minute, but it can't fake thirteen years of posting. If the account is brand new with a handful of posts, that tells you what you need to know. Third, the money. I will never message you out of nowhere asking you to pay for something through a random app or link. If someone asks you for money and says it's me, check the links page first.

If you want a longer version of that check, the verify page goes through it step by step, and I wrote a whole separate post about what to actually do if you find a fake.

The bird, by the way, really was that big. You will just have to take my word for it. The accounts, you don't have to take my word for. They are right there on the list.
